Terms of Service

LLB Companion is a study companion app for undergraduate LLB students in Ghana, offering course outlines, briefed case law, MCQ quizzes, legal maxim flashcards, live lecture transcription, note-taking, and an AI legal study assistant, across two curricula (Syllabus 1 and Syllabus 2) and Levels 100–400.

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be enrolled in, or otherwise studying towards, an LLB or related law programme, or otherwise have a genuine academic interest in the content, to use the Service.

• New accounts receive a number of free credits to try core features.
• Continued full access requires an active paid subscription (Daily, Monthly, or Yearly plan), priced in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and shown at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions are purchased and managed via our website at llbstudycompanion.com, using our payment processor Paystack (supporting MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money, and card payments). The mobile app itself does not process payments directly.
• Subscriptions grant access for the stated period and do not auto-renew unless you take further action; we send renewal reminder emails ahead of expiry.
• Fees paid are generally non-refundable except where required by law, or at our discretion in cases of a verified service fault.

Course summaries, case briefs, and other legal content within the Service are provided for study and revision purposes only. While we take care to ensure accuracy, this content does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for your official course materials, lecturer guidance, or independent legal research. Always verify critical information against primary legal sources and your institution's official syllabus.

The AI Assistant feature uses third-party AI models to generate answers to legal questions. Responses may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. You should independently verify any AI-generated content before relying on it academically.

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or resell access to the Service.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute the Service's content in bulk for commercial purposes.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts its operation for other users.

All original content, design, and branding within the Service are owned by LLB Companion. You may use the content for personal, non-commercial study purposes only.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent payment activity, or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LLB Companion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on educational content for academic outcomes.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
